Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance

Tuition Assistance is determined through recommendations from FACTS Grant and Aid Assessments, along with a review by the ACA Financial Aid Committee. Awards are dependent on available funds. Financial assistance does not cover books, fees, lunches, or uniforms.

The Financial Aid Committee, in coordination with the Board, evaluates financial aid applications. Besides financial need, they consider academic performance, student behavior, and family involvement to decide on the aid amount. All tuition discounts, including those for school staff, are processed through this system. Financial aid cannot exceed 50% per family.

To apply for financial aid, families must submit a complete financial aid packet by March 31st, including a $55 application fee, through the online FACTS system. New students must also complete the ACA Enrollment forms to be eligible for consideration.

*Applications received after March 31 may not receive funding regardless of financial status.

The family shall receive email notification no later than May 1st. Each family should confirm acceptance of the financial award to the school by May 15th.

Why a Christian School requires an enrollment application before processing tuition assistance.

Chrisitan schools require families to complete the admissions application first because tuition assistance is only available to students who are eligible for enrollment. The admissions process allows the school to confirm that the student is a good academic, behavioral, and mission fit for the school community before limited financial aid resources are considered.

  1. Eligibility must first be established-tuition assistance is awarded only to students who meet the school's admissions criteria. Processing aid before admissions could result in allocating funds to students who may not ultimately be accepted.

  2. Stewardship of limited resources - Christian schools view tuition assistance as an act of stewardship. Ensuring that funds are directed toward enrolled or enrollable students honors the responsibility to use donated and budgeted resources wisely.

  3. Mission and community alignment - Admissions helps determine whether the family understands and supports the school's Christian mission, values, and expectations. Tuition assistance supports families who are committed to that shared mission.

  4. Accurate financial planning - Schools must know projected enrollment before determining how much tuition assistance can be responsibly awarded across all families.

  5. Fairness and consistency - Requiring enrollment first ensures that every family follows the same process and that tuition assistance decisions are made equitably.
